Kayak To Lake Islands Adventure

A beautiful 40 minutes drive lands you at Big Fir Public Use Area. Bathrooms and grills on site for a delightful afternoon on the lake. Kayak out to the many islands and explore the shockingly various rock types and foliage for such small islands! Free day use at Big Fir. $40 a day per Kayak. Shuttle available for additional fee.

Talimena Scenic Drive and Mini Train Ride

Begin this adventure with the beautiful 45 minute drive from Edendell, up the Talimena Scenic Drive to Queen Whilhelmena State Park. Visit the adorable Wonder House. Take the mini train ride around the top of the second highest point in Arkansas. ($6.25 for children. $7.25 for adults for the train ride.) After the breathtaking tour around the summit of Rich Mountain enjoy the on site ice cream parlour!
